ISAKOS: 2021 Congress in Cape Town, South Africa

ISAKOS Congress Call for Abstracts

Deadline Extended to February 15, 2021

Don't miss your chance to submit Abstracts for the ISAKOS 2021 Congress being offered live in Cape Town, South Africa in late November 2021. Abstracts are being reviewed and accepted for both in-person podium presentations and electronic posters, from presenters around the world who would like to join their colleagues in Cape Town. In addition, exceptional abstracts will be considered for several ISAKOS Awards for outstanding clinical or laboratory research, which will be presented at this live event.

While we fully expect the meeting will proceed live in Cape Town, we understand that, with the ongoing pandemic uncertainty, possible new developments in 2021 could render attending an in-person meeting difficult. Please know that the ISAKOS Congress will definitely be going ahead in November 2021, in whatever format necessary, and you should therefore feel comfortable planning your submissions, your faculty commitment, and your attendance, in whatever format you are able to do so.

Presenting Authors need to have the following information readily available when submitting an abstract:

  1. Presenting Author's login email and password for ISAKOS (if a record does not exist for the Presenting Author you will be directed to create a record)
  2. Complete contact information for the Presenting Author including the institution of research.
  3. The ISAKOS ID number for as many authors as possible (contact the ISAKOS Office to obtain an author's ISAKOS ID number – please do not make duplicate records.)
  4. Provide the abstract title in proper-case for publishing (i.e. The Science of Orthopaedic Surgery)
  5. Provide the abstract as plain text, graphics and tables are not accepted.
  6. Financial Disclosure, American Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Copyright License information on behalf of all authors.
