the great organization and their efforts to teach us all
the advanced procedures in cartilage regeneration.

We would also like to make a special mention and

thank Alberto Gobbi, Secretary General of International
Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS) and invited faculty

for many years now to the ISMF Conference, who
gave us the opportunity to attend this workshop

by recommending us for the scholarship. We first
had a chance to interact with Dr. Gobbi as fellows

at Orthopaedic Arthroscopic Surgery International
(OASI) Bioresearch Foundation in Milan, Italy, where
we completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and

Arthroscopy and Emerging Technologies in Cartilage
Regeneration Strategies. Under his guidance we

learnt about various cartilage repair techniques
particularly treatment of cartilage defects with stem

cells and various orthopaedic applications of platelet
rich plasma (PRP) and growth factors.
