ISAKOS is partnering with the Aspetar Sports Surgery Training Center to bring experienced international faculty into the region and provide essential hands-on training in knee and ankle surgical skills. This two-day course, offering didactic and hands-on training to physicians, will include lectures and case-based presentations as well as hands-on sessions in which participants practice surgical techniques under the guidance of expert physician faculty. Aspetar’s Sports Surgery Training Centre (SSTC) is the first leading centre of its kind in its region, creating a center for sports surgery that will allow the sharing of skills, experience and knowledge not only regionally, but internationally. The primary focus of this workshop is to achieve ISAKOS’s mission and offer a unique opportunity to share the newest surgical techniques—to both enhance premium sports surgical care for athletes and patients, and increase knowledge globally.
