I am assistant professor of Orthopedics at Link Campus University and Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in Rome, Italy My main focus are sports traumatology, knee ligament reconstructions, osteotomies around the knee, meniscal and cartilage procedures, and knee arthroplasty. I graduated in Orthopedics at La Sapienza University of Rome. During and after my residency, I had the opportunity to train abroad with various fellowships, including the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Fellowship in the United States, as well as in France, at the Centre Orthopédique Santy in Lyon, and in Germany, at Orthopädische Chirurgie München OCM. I was recipient of two traveling fellowships, in 2022 with the francophone society of arthroscopy SFA and in 2024 with the Japanese Society of Sports Orthopaedics JSOA. Since 2022, I am member of the Scientific Anterior Cruciate Ligament Network International (SANTI) Study Group, an international research collaboration dedicated to studying knee sports-related pathology. I worked at the University Sports Clinic in Toulouse, France, and as an orthopedic surgeon at the CONI Olympic Institute of Sports Medicine and Science in Rome. I have been an orthopedic consultant for the AS Roma football youth teams and a doctor for the Italian football federation (FIGC) national youth and senior teams. I have co-authored approximatively 80 papers, including journal articles, book chapters, and guidelines, and I have participated as speaker in different international conferences (ISAKOS, ESSKA, SFA, SIAGASCOT). I am a member of different societies including the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), Société Francophone d'Arthroscopie (SFA), and the Italian society SIAGASCOT, where I am is involved in various committees and workgroups.
