My name is Gillian Kane and I am third year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I first joined the Biodynamics Laboratory (BDL) at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 after graduating from The George Washington University. My research efforts at the BDL have primarily focused on investigating the affects of Superior Capsular Reconstruction and Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty on in vivo kinematics. Beyond my academic pursiuts, I enjoy powerlifting and waterskiing with my family in my free time and I am looking forward to the opportunity to apply Orthopaedics residency programs for the Class of 2024.
