Dr Philippe Landreau is specialized in sports traumatology (knee, shoulder and arthroscopic surgery) and arthroplasty. Before joining Dubai, he was the Chief of Surgery at Aspetar (from 2010 to 2018), Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, Qatar. Previously he worked in Paris, France, where he combined private and public surgical activity (Clinique du Sport, American Hospital of Paris, Hospital La Pitie-Salpetriere). Throughout his career, Dr Landreau was the reference surgeon for numerous regional and national sports teams including the Stade Français Rugby team, the French National Judo team, the French National Handball feminine team, the American Football Flash team and the National football team of Qatar, etc. PROFILE Orthocure & Mediclinic, Dubai, UAE: 2021 to now. Chief Medical Officer at DXBone, Bone and Joint Excellence Center, Dubai, UAE: 2019 to 2021. Chief of Surgery at Aspetar, Doha (from 2010 to 2018) and 25+ years as a French orthopedic surgeon, previously working in Paris, combining public (La Pitié Salpétrière Hospital) and private (Sport Clinic, American Hospital of Paris) activity. Performed 18,000+ surgeries across Europe and Middle East region. Board of Directors member at ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine). Member of the Sports Medicine Committee and the Publications committee at ISAKOS. Member of Organizing and Scientific Committee at Emirates Orthopaedic Society International Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Honorary member of the French Arthroscopic Society. Published 100+ journal articles, book chapters and books. Presented 1000+ lectures, conferences, workshops and instructional courses worldwide. Implemented the first surgical training center in the Middle East that entails cadaveric workshops, anatomical education and research. Conceptor of knee prosthesis implant. Consultant for international and global leading orthopedic industries.
