Dr. Claudio Legnani graduated at the University of Milan, Italy, in 2007 where he specialized in orthopedics in 2013. He is currently working as orthopaedic surgeon and researcher at the Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute in Milan, where he is involved in experimental and clinical trials as principal investigator or co-investigator. His clinical and scientific interests focus on knee reconstructive sur gery and replacement, arthroscopy and sports traumatology, as well as biologic approaches to enhance tendon and cartilage healing. Dr. Legnani has authored and co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and has given numerous national and international conference presentations. He has been awarded fellowships and grants from E.S.S.K.A. and E.F.O.R.T., visiting European centres of arthroscopic and joint replacement surgery in France, Germany, Spain and UK.
