Ji-Hoon Bae has extensive experience in the field of orthopaedic surgery, specializing in knee arthroscopy, knee arthroplasty and sports medicine. He currently holds the position as a Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Korea University College of Medicine and he works as a staff at Korea University Guro Hospital. Professor Bae completed his medical degree in Korea Universtiy College of Medicine, prior to completing his Masters degree at his alma mater. He continued his academic training and was awarded his doctorate at Korea University Graduate School in 2009. For a year and a half in 2013, he completed his fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in the United States. Professor Bae is an active member of many medical and professional societies, particularly the Active Member of The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). His research interests include a field of sports medicine, particularly functional outcomes following ACL injury. He has published widely in distinguished national and international peer-reviewed journals.
