Dr. Wellsandt is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She also holds a Courtesy Associate Professor position in UNMC's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and directs the UNMC Clinical Movement Analysis Lab. Her research focuses on biomechanical and functional outcomes analysis in individuals with knee injuries, with a primary interest in the influence of these factors on the secondary development of osteoarthritis.
