The ISAKOS 2025 Congress will take place in historic Munich, Germany, June 8-11.
Offering a variety of new the latest in preventative, therapeutic and surgical technique information, this four-day meeting at the
International Congress Center München. The Congress promises an innovative program of rich engagement with international experts,
cutting-edge live surgical demonstrations, instructional courses and symposia offering extensive interaction with premier faculty,
and invaluable networking with peers. Participants will expand their knowledge and enhance their surgical skills as they:
- Discuss new initiatives in medicine and technology as they relate to arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine.
- Evaluate clinical cases and advance the practice of evidence-based, informed orthopaedic care.
- Demonstrate the application of current techniques, procedures and research.
- Identify and analyze current research data pertaining to the management of ankle, foot, knee, hip, wrist, elbow and shoulder problems, and to sports medicine.

Stephan Siegrist is a Swiss professional mountaineer and mountain guide known for his first ascents on all
seven continents and over 40 climbs of the Eiger North Face. Originally trained as a carpenter, his passion for the
mountains led to a life of adventure, from the Himalayas to Patagonia. His expertise spans bouldering, sport climbing,
big walls, mixed, and ice climbing—as well as highline walking.
Siegrist is also a skilled speaker who shares his experiences through captivating multimedia presentations—offering
insight into risk, resilience, and life at the edge, with humor and humility. His story is not only a celebration
of the human spirit, but a compelling reminder of the resilience that unites those who push boundaries—on the
mountain and in medicine.

ISAKOS welcomes all attendees and their guests to celebrate the opening of the ISAKOS Congress.
This networking opportunity is one of the highlights of the Congress. Attendees and their guests
will have the chance to reunite with colleagues and friends. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will
be provided for this festive occasion. Attendance is included in the Congress
registration fee and guests are welcome to attend at no additional charge.
