Matthieu Ollivier, Prof, MD, PhD

Pr Matthieu Ollivier is a specialist in knee surgery with an overspecialization in the surgical pathology of athletes. His expertise is recognized nationally and internationally. He teaches sports surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of Marseille as a Professor. A researcher who has won numerous international awards, Pr Ollivier holds a thesis in medicine and a thesis in the science of movement and sport. He completed his medical apprenticeship at the Faculty of Medicine of MARSEILLE. He was trained by Dr Philippe BEAUFILS in the Sports Surgery Reference Department at VERSAILLES (2014-2015) and spent a year as an assistant at the prestigious MAYO CLINIC (Rochester, Minnesota, United States). As a Sports Surgeon, he performs the most modern techniques for repairing, reconstructing, and replacing the ligaments, menisci and cartilage of the knee. His expertise in the management of limb deformities (femur osteotomies, tibia osteotomies) is recognized internationally. Pr Matthieu Ollivier has published more than 200 scientific articles in major international scientific journals. He has communicated his research work in the most prestigious scientific congresses. He is a Member: -of the Francophone Society of Arthroscopy -of the European Society for Arthroscopic Surgery -American Academy of Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery.
