Jeremy Burnham, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and the surgical treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. His clinical expertise focuses on advanced knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus preservation and repair, cartilage restoration, and other sports-related orthopedic procedures.
Dr. Burnham serves as the Director of Sports Medicine at the Ochsner Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and as the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service Line Vice Chair for Ochsner Health. He is actively involved in the care of athletes at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels, serving as a team physician and providing comprehensive sports medicine care. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Burnham has a strong interest in research and education, with a focus on advancing techniques in knee ligament, meniscus, and cartilage surgery.
