Jarret M. Woodmass, MD, FRCSC

Pan Am Clinic, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg
Winnipeg, MB CANADA

I received my first academic appointment in early 2018 at the University of Manitoba, following the completion of my fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and Harvard University. As is evident from my publication record (38 peer reviewed papers including 17 as first author), I have had a keen interest in research throughout my medical training and have had incredible mentorship from experienced and prolific academic surgeons. My previous research experience has focused on the treatment of complex shoulder and knee pathology with biomechanical investigations, retrospective clinical evaluations and the design and implementation of prospective clinical trials. As the director of quality assurance and control for the Pan Am Clinic registry, I have worked to standardize the collection of patient outcomes following injuries to the shoulder, including total shoulder replacements as well as ACL reconstruction.
