My name is Dr. Ilan Mitchnik and I am a physician at the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Shamir (Assaf Harofeh) Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, Israel. I’m experienced in treating tactical athlete injuries and trauma casualties as a military physician. I studied medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem where I am now also a clinical instructor at the faculty of medicine. I have particular interests in the restoration of patients’ functional abilities and I believe in patient centered care, team work in health care and critical thinking.
