Deidre López Guardiola is currently completing a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship in Mexico City. She holds certification from the Mexican Board of Orthopaedics and is currently researching about subscapularis preserving approaches to reverse shoulder replacement. Her clinical interests include shoulder arthroplasty, elbow instability, and meniscal preservation. She has pursued international exchange programmes as a visiting fellow in Germany and Colombia and actively participates in mentorship programs through AO and AANA. This is her first opportunity to share long-term outcomes of meniscal transplantation with the international orthopaedic community, and she is grateful for the experience!
