Romed Vieider is the 2025 ESSKA Fellow, currently based in Pittsburgh at the UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Medicine Complex. His research focuses on sports orthopedics, knee surgery, and knee biomechanics. He is a second-year orthopedic resident at the Department of Sports Orthopaedics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where his clinical and research interests include joint preservation of the knee, elbow, and shoulder. Vieider studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna and graduated in 2022.
