Thomas Ibounig is a shoulder and elbow surgeon at Helsinki University Hospital and a part-time researcher at the Finnish Center for Evidence-Based Orthopaedics (FICEBO). He is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the prevalence of abnormal shoulder imaging findings in the general population and their concordance with clinical symptoms. His research interests include musculoskeletal imaging, degenerative joint conditions, and the clinical relevance of radiological abnormalities.
