Carson Halliwell, PhD, is a Post-Doctoral Fellow jointly affiliated with the Department of Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke and the School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, specializing in Rehabilitation Science. His research centers on gait asymmetry and its contribution to the progression of contralateral knee osteoarthritis in individuals with unilateral knee osteoarthritis, with the goal of enhancing clinical outcomes through personalized physical activity interventions. Carson is also interested in exploring the intersection of osteoarthritis and frailty, as well as investigating surgical interventions for musculoskeletal conditions to optimize patient care and recovery.
