Dr. Jeffrey Spang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina USA. He is the team physician for many major college Division I teams including UNC football, UNC men's lacrosse and UNC women's basketball. Dr. Spang specializes in treatment and research for soft tissue trauma of the knee and shoulder, primary and revision anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, complex knee instability including realignment osteotomies, patellar instability, rotator cuff disease, open and arthroscopic surgeries for shoulder instability and cartilage restoration.
