Anders Troelsen, MD, PhD, DMSc, is a professor within the field of orthopaedics. He is positioned at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Copenhagen University Hospital Hvidovre, Denmark, where he serves as a senior consultant performing knee and hip arthroplasty.
In the past years, Anders Troelsen cooperated on publishing 240 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals. The primary research focus has been to improve the treatment outcomes for patients with knee and hip OA and subsequent replacement surgery. Anders Troelsen’s research aims at challenging existing dogmas within orthopedic patient care, to ensure evidence-based choice of treatment to improve the treatment strategies and patient outcome.
In 2018 Professor Anders Troelsen took the initiative to start up a larger and cross-cutting research group. In collaboration with 10 partners we were announced Clinical Academic Group: Research in Osteoarthritis Denmark (CAG ROAD) under the auspices of Greater Copenhagen Health Science Partners. https://gchsp.dk/cag/cag-road/
