This symposium will update the latest on cell therapy for cartilage repair, immune-modulating therapy for symptom management, and clinical application of these techniques in a sports medicine practice. In addition to updates on stem cell seeding of scaffolds, long-term data will be presented on stem cell and differentiated cell therapies as well as immune modulating techniques for the management of cartilage damage. Clinical perspectives on the management of cartilage damage will focus on both the recreational and professional level.
