Dr. Brian R. Duncan received a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University, is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Duncan’s areas of interest and specialization include hip preservation, knee and shoulder pathologies, and sports injuries. He leads our Division 1 Fellowship Program in partnership with the University of Houston, is a member of our Hip Preservation Program team, and faculty for the University of Texas at Houston Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. Additionally, he is involved in teaching/research sports-related knee injuries, hip preservation, and overhead athlete, and has presented research at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. Brian is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Texas Physical Therapy Association and serves as Vice Chair for the Specialization Special Interest Group for the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapists. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, coaching and playing sports, working out, and traveling.
