Dr. Al Mana is a consultant of Orthopaedic Surgery at King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam, focusing on complex shoulder surgery and sports medicine. She completed her medical training at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, where she graduated with Honors and pursued residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. Following this, she completed fellowship training in both Sports Medicine and Upper Extremity Surgery from McMaster University. While at McMaster University, she gained expertise in complex open and arthroscopic techniques of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. She served as an assistant team physician for Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) and Forge FC (CPL), gaining experience in the treatment of the elite athlete. Dr. Al Mana's research interests involve clinical outcomes research related to the shoulder, particularly the management of massive rotator cuff pathology and complex instability. She has published over a dozen peer-reviewed manuscripts in top-ranking journals and routinely presents at conferences globally. Dr. Al Mana also has a keen interest in global surgery and building surgical capacity among institutions.
