Edward Floyd is a PGY-1 orthopedic surgery resident at the University of North Dakota/Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine after finishing a masters in physiology, and completed a research internship year at Twin Cities Orthopedics in Minneapolis, MN, working under Dr. Robert LaPrade, MD, PhD. He is originally from Augusta, GA and attended college at the University of the South (Sewanee), majoring in Biochemistry and German language. Interests include sports medicine, languages, music and fencing.
