Creating the possibility of repairing damaged meniscuses in the white part, chronic damage with proven survival rate of 88% in long-term follow-up. This technique was first described in 2012. Popularization of treatment of chronic tear injuries with weight loss, chronic injuries, reconstruction from own tissues - iliotibial bend. Popularization and adaptation of the method in arthroscopic technique - Henning procedure. Joint Cartilage Thanks to own studies, I could enrich orthopaedics with a fully arthroscopic surgical technique of reconstruction of large cavities in joint cartilage AMIC (Autologous Matrix Induce Chondrogenesis) in knee joint and then in hip and ankle joints. This technique allows filling the cavity arthroscopically (in dry arthroscopy I use, in these kinds of surgery) with specially prepared pieces of collagen membrane. This technique was first described in the foreign magazine Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology Arthroscopy in 2012. Achilles Tendon I have been treating patients with large cavities of Achilles tendon, having recurrent damage, chronic sport injuries. Difficult healing and treatment of such patients led to emergence of a new surgical technique, reconstruction technique with the use of autological tendon grafts and original fixing of transplant in calcaneum through endobutton. The works on the technique and innovative method allowed creating the aiming device dedicated for this treatment in cooperation with Smith+Nephew. The utility model was applied by Smith+Nephew. ACL Reconstruction Ribbon Modified Technique I adapted the surgical technique of ACL reconstruction in anatomical ribbon-like models to standard instruments. The simplified technique allows for anatomical reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament using endobutton stabilization. Residual dysplasia of the patellofemoral joint The main cause of damage to the articular cartilage of the patella. Arthroscopic introduction of partial rhinectomy and rim resection techniques in the treatment of patellar cartilage defects and pain in the anterior compartment of the knee joint. PATENTS AND CETRIFICATES • Patents: When working with MD PhD Kinga Ciemniewska-Gorzela on coating the meniscus with collagen membrane, we created a device which facilitates application of membrane. It was patented under the number 217674. • GOAT Certificate: In order to support application of membrane on the meniscus, we created a device which boosts membrane implantation. Change of surgical technique is aimed at propagating the meniscus regeneration method. The device is called „GOAT” (the name refers to the emblem of Poznan for commemoration of the place it was created). It was devised in cooperation with engineers and manufactured in Aesculap Chifa Polska Nowy Tomysl. The product is certified in the European Union and made available by the distributor Biovico. (93/42/EWG 03/2018) • Achilles Aiming Device Certificate: To facilitate drilling in ducts in calcaneum, for implantation of graft, with Smith+Nephew constructed the aiming device for proper drilling in ducts in calcaneum.
