Berte Bøe MD, PhD, is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Oslo University Hospital with a special interest in Complex Shoulder and Knee Surgery. She defended an orthopaedic PhD at the University of Oslo in 2012 and has been invited to several national and international meetings as a speaker and faculty member for both knee and shoulder surgery. She is the current President of the Norwegian Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow. Editorial board member of ESSKA Academy, American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM), AJSM Electronic Media and Video Journal of Sports Medicine(VJSM). Committee member of ESSKA-ESA. Norway’s National Delegate of SECEC. Member of ESSKA, SECEC and ISAKOS. She is involved in the peer review process for AJSM, KSSTA, VJSM, Arthroscopy and JISAKOS.
