Alex Walinga is a PhD candidate in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at Amsterdam UMC. His research is focused on bacterial arthritis and needle arthroscopy, and he is highly committed to finding new and innovative ways to improve treatment for patients in these areas. One of Alex's most significant contributions to the field has been his work on needle arthroscopy, a minimally invasive procedure that allows doctors to examine and treat joint problems without the need for open surgery.
