Born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, I earned my medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a Master of Health Administration from the Instituto de Estudios Universitarios. I am currently a Fellow in Joint Surgery (Hip and Knee Joint Reconstruction/Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries) at the National Institute of Rehabilitation in Mexico City. Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, hiking, attending metal music festivals, and playing video games.
