Dr. David Flanigan is a professor of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine and Director of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is the director of the Cartilage Restoration Program at the Ohio State University and focuses his practice on ACL injuries, reconstructions and revisions, meniscal injuries, repair and transplantation, multi-ligament injuries, and cartilage injuries and restorative procedures. He is an internationally recognized expert on the treatment of cartilage injuries and restoration and advancing techniques in osteochondral and meniscal repair and transplantation. As a team physician for the Ohio State University, his passion is to get athletes back to sport and a lifetime of activity. He believes in blending the best of clinical care, research and education for optimum patient outcomes.
