Despite the success of TKR there is still a number of patients who are unsatisfied with their outcome. In some of these patients a specific reason can be diagnosed and treated, but in many others the reason is unclear and all investigations are negative. The goal of this symposium is to give the audience a good insight into the frequency of this problem, which patients are most likely to be affected, how best to avoid this problem and to manage it when it occurs.
