Published 50 international publications and 75 abstracts focusing mainly on the clinical results of ACL reconstructions, especially controlled randomized trials comparing double-bundle and single-bundle ACL reconstructions.
Supervised 3 academic dissertations and 6 thesis. Having been as an opponent for 1 academic dissertation and a reviewer for 3 academic dissertations
Member of the ACL Study Group, Magellan Society, ESSKA, ISAKOS and Editorial Boards of the American Journal of Sports Medicine, and the Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopy.
Having done the EFORT Traveling Fellowship in Switzerland in 1999, ESSKA Traveling Fellowship in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan) in 2004, and Sports Medicine and Research Fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2001 and 2005-2006.
Winning the Award of the Best Paper in Annual Finnish Orthopaedic Meeting 3 times, Award of Best Reviewer of the KSSTA in 2014, and Hughston Award in 2018. Presented in a National Award Session of the ESSKA in 2008.
Organized 20 international courses or symposiums. Giving more than 100 invited international presentations, 10 invited international live surgery demonstrations, and hosted 50 international visitors or fellows including the traveling fellows from Asia Pacific in 2008 and from SLARD in 2012.
