Role of the fellow with respect to Clinical, Surgical, Research, and other opportunities: Clinical aspect : integrated into the team in consultation.
Surgical aspect : integrated into the OR team with the choice of the subspecialty: shoulder, elbow, hip , knee, foot and ankle
Research : several studies are performed at the same time , fellow could easily be integrated in one that could become a publication !
Types of Educational Opportunities:
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: We are in close connection with the bio mechanical lab in which all the facilities are available . For exemple , testing of ACL fixation device is super easy to do.
We also work with the anthropological lab, it has a subspecialty in 3D images and synthesis images ... we are studying the anatomy and the variability of different bones and the clinical implications
