Types of Educational Opportunities:
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: Each fellow is involved in surgery, clinic, ground rounds, meetings, webinars, magazine club, simulation laboratory and research during the year of training. Our research is mostly based on anatomical studies and clinical studies with Orthopedic residents and medical students of our University. The program is divided in four rotations of three months each one in groups of our attendings.
Related Conference/Lecture Schedule: Surgery: two days per week Clinic: two days per week Grand Rounds: weekly Pre QX. Knee meeting: weekly Research meeting: Every two weeks. Simulation Laboratory: At least once per week.
Athletic Team Coverage: We provide services to some soccer profesional teams in Bogotá: Independiente Santa Fe, Club Deportivo Los Millonarios.
