Muenster GERMANY

Christoph Kittl is a specialist knee surgeon at the department of Trauma, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery in at the university hospital in Muenster. In 2019 he just finished a postgraduate Master of surgery degree on the anatomy, biomechanics and reconstructions of the anterolateral structures of the knee at Imperial College London. His fellowship training was in Berlin with Prof. Andreas Weiler, at the sporthopaedicum Berlin. His special interest is in anatomy and biomechanics of the peripheral structures of the knee and their reconstructions. He has published research and book chapters on knee surgery and his work on the peripheral structures of the knee has recently won the ESSKA ligament and biomechanics award, as well as the ISAKOS young investigator award.
