Dr. Weller received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the University of Pittsburgh. She was in private practice for 4 years in Suffolk, VA before joining the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Department at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2019 and has since received appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. She is also the team physician and surgeon for the Naval Special Warfare Groups in Virginia Beach, VA.
