Arnaldo Amado Ferreira Neto, MD, PhD Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1985), master's degree in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the University of São Paulo (1995) and doctorate in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the University of São Paulo (1999). He is currently a Medical Collaborating Professor at Medicine School of the University of São Paulo and an Assistant Physician at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department FMUSP and current Head of the Shoulder and Elbow Group and Consultant Doctor of Sports Medicine Group at DOT-FMUSP. His participation in national and international societies are: international membership of ASES and AAOS, active membership SBOT, SBCOC and SBRATE. He is past president of Brazilian Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Society (2013) His main activities in shoulder and elbow field are: arthroscopy, arthroplasty, trauma, instability, tendon disorders, and sports medicine.
