Dr. Alexis Colvin is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. A graduate of Princeton University, she received her medical degree from Mount Sinai, completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU, and her sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr Colvin is the Chief Medical Officer for the US Open, the team physician for the US Billie Jean King Cup team, and previously served as the Chief Medical Officer for the United States Tennis Association. Dr. Colvin has also served as a physician at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She specializes in the treatment of shoulder and knee disorders.
