Professor Vladimir Bobic is a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon in full-time clinical and surgical practice. He is the Director and founder of Chester Knee Clinic and Cartilage Repair Centre in Chester, United Kingom. Prof Bobic is an internationally recognised expert and one of the UK’s clinical and surgical pioneers in knee articular cartilage imaging, repair and rehabilitation. He is the inventor and instrument designer of OATS articular cartilage repair technology. He performed the first ACI surgery in the North West of England in 1998, and continues to perform a wide range of cartilage repair procedures. He is one of the founding members of the ICRS since 1997, a former member of the ICRS General Board, a founder of the ICRS Imaging Committee and Rehabilitation Work Group and ICRS Fellow since 2006.
