Professor Julian Feller is an orthopaedic surgeon and clinical researcher who specializes in knee surgery and practices as part of OrthoSport Victoria, based at Epworth Richmond in Melbourne, Australia. He has a long involvement with professional athletes in many sports, including the various codes of football but particularly Australian Rules Football, netball and basketball. He has a particular interest in anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Julian has a long involvement in clinical research and has more than 200 book chapter and peer review journal publications. He presents regularly at international meetings. His main research focus is anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with particular reference to return to sport and re-injury; Julian is currently an Adjunct Professor in the School of Allied Health at La Trobe University, where he has collaborated for many years with Professor Kate Webster. Julian is an Associate Editor of the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports MedicineOJSM and has served on the editorial boards of AJSM, OJSM, KSSTA, and Arthroscopy. Julian has been heavily involved in a number of orthopaedic organizations. He is the Chair of the Traveling Fellowship Committee of ISAKOS, and a member of the Membership Committee of the International Patellofemoral Study Group. He is a past president of the international ACL Study Group and of the Australian Knee Society, and a past Board Member, past Chair of the Knee Committee and previous Program Chair of ISAKOS.
