Dr Philipp W. Winkler is currently working as a resident at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Kepler University Hospital Linz, Austria. In 2020, he took the opportunity to do a knee research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, USA (Prof. Freddie Fu, Prof. Volker Musahl). As a research fellow, he focused on the biomechanical effect of the posterior tibial slope on knee kinematics and cruciate ligament and meniscal forces.
