Dear ISAKOS Members,
We have some exciting news to share with the ISAKOS community.
JISAKOS Impact Factor
First, the Journal of ISAKOS continues its upward trajectory, with its impact factor increasing from 3.3 to 3.7 (and a cite score increasing from 3.5 to 4.6) over the past year. This growth reflects the journal’s expanding influence within the orthopaedic sports medicine community and the increasing recognition of the high-quality research we publish. An increasing impact factor is driven by greater citation of published work, underscoring the relevance, scientific rigor, and clinical impact of the research contributed by our authors, reviewers, and editorial team. As the journal continues to grow, it remains committed to advancing evidence-based knowledge and improving patient care worldwide.
JISAKOS Excellence in Authorship Program
The second iteration of the Journal of ISAKOS Excellence in Authorship Program is well underway, with 10 mentees selected from Sierra Leone, Kenya, Thailand, Peru, Mongolia, India, Pakistan, and Ethiopia. Watch our socials (@j_isakos) for more details about our mentors and mentees and the excellent research we are supporting on a global scale.
