Charges

The following charges are the 2025 - 2027 committee term.

  • Development
    • Identify alternate sources of funding outside of traditional industry supporters; Example: public/private grants, societies and foundations, sports organizations, etc.
    • Leverage committee member relationships with industry to help secure multi-year pledges of support from companies, to help offset the cost of ISAKOS support for the global registry.
    • Participate in donor relationship-building, helping identify, engage, cultivate, and retain donors.
  • Oversight
    • Explore potential collaborating registries who will participate on registry project.
    • Identify additional sources of funding of ISAKOS support for a Global ACL Registry.
    • Outline potential new opportunities that could attract industry support of research.
    • Provide oversight for international registry collaboration on Global ACL Registry.
  • Publications
    • Recommend strategies for contributing to ISAKOS Publications, including the ISAKOS eNewsletter and Journal of ISAKOS
  • Research & Education
    • Evaluate the support required by ISAKOS and recommend strategies for building capacity for delivering that support.
    • Provide support and tools to participating registry members and those with an interest in developing a new ACL registry at the national or institutional level.
    • Select qualified and trained registry resources to aid ISAKOS in successful support of a Global ACL Registry project.
    • Work with participating registries on development of a clear, concise strategy for the Global ACL Registry, providing a roadmap of purposeful actions.
  • Strategic Plan
    • Advance the fulfillment/achievement of the ISAKOS Strategic Plan. Consider with all Committee initiatives how projects will assist in accomplishing key strategies of the ISAKOS Strategic Plan.
    • Foster members’ research ambitions while growing the Global ACL Registry, positioning ISAKOS at the forefront for advocating research.
    • Leverage the Global ACL Registry to help ISAKOS advance the worldwide exchange and dissemination of research and patient care in arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine.
    • Position ISAKOS as a global leader that attracts and convenes the leaders of ACL registries around the world.
