My journey as an orthopaedic surgeon and first president of arthroscopic society of Nepal was not easy. I kept on working hard to establish values of arthroscopy and also inspire young aspiring surgeons of Nepal to do the right thing for our deserving patients. I have not only trained young surgeons, but also established centres where they can be trained in Nepal. My affiliation to ISAKOS is highly important. Many of my colleagues have already served on the top positions in ISAKOS. Me and my team always wanted to have strong bonding with this great organization. This is only possible by the academic connection. That is the reason, I wanted to continue with this fellowship program in our institution.
