Summary: this study evaluated a prospective cohort of at least 2 years of follow-up, evaluating objective results through knee stress radiographs and the subjective result through quality of life questionnaires. The results of 45 evaluated patients showed a good result of the Lynsholm score with a mean of 78 points and a difference of 1.8 mm in the side-by-side comparison on the stress radiographs.

this study evaluated a prospective cohort of at least 2 years of follow-up, evaluating objective results through knee stress radiographs and the subjective result through quality of life questionnaires. The results of 45 evaluated patients showed a good result of the Lynsholm score with a mean of 78 points and a difference of 1.8 mm in the side-by-side comparison on the stress radiographs. Only one patient had mobility limitation at the end of 2 years of follow-up and no patient had a inflamatory reaction due to the presence of the tape inside the joint. all subjects were able to return to sport after 2 years, however only 45% returned to the same pre-injury level. Posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using internal brace augmentation is a good option for the treatment of these conditions
