sporthopaedicum & University Hospital of Regensburg Regensburg, BY GERMANY Professor Andreas Voss is a German orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery with a strong emphasis on sports-related pathology, arthroscopy, and regenerative joint therapy. He trained in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Technical University of Munich and completed further training in trauma surgery at the University Hospital of Regensburg, with an additional Sports Medicine Research Fellowship at the University of Connecticut (USA) focused on shoulder research and surgery. He serves as a Professor and senior surgeon with the sporthopaedicum group (Regensburg & Straubing) and the University Hospital of Regensburg, combining clinical practice, research, and education. Prof. Voss holds memberships and active roles in key professional societies including ISAKOS, ESSKA, AGA (Arthroscopy & Joint Surgery), and the German Association for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE), and is often invited as faculty at international orthopaedic conferences. His work includes advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive techniques for shoulder and elbow conditions, as well as glenohumeral instability, rotator cuff repair, and cartilage-preserving approaches, alongside involvement in teaching and student orthopaedic education programmes.
