PROGRAMME - GOAL & OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course the candidate should have acquired knowledge, skills & attitude to be able to function as an independent clinician / consultant and a teacher. At the end of the course, the candidate should be able to: • Provide comprehensive and integrated health care services with a focus on sports medicine and physical activity • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skill in sports medicine • Analyze, construct and conduct research in the field of sports medicine with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration • Develop teaching methods and demonstrate high quality teaching to medical personnel in the areas of sports medicine or physical activity • Should be able to do perform basic arthroscopy procedures The training of the candidate shall be competency based. The competencies shall be divided into 4 broad domains: 1. Clinical 2. Public Health 3. Managerial 4.Education & Research
