Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics (SGITO) is a specialised tertiary trauma and orthopaedics institute with emphasis on specialised surgery, prompt postoperative care, rehabilitation, and promoting research activities. As one of the leading regional trauma and orthopaedic speciality hospitals, we are dedicated to improving patient results by providing high-quality, cost-effective specialized trauma and orthopaedic care in a streamlined environment focused on wellness, mobility, and quick recovery. The institute also has a dedicated team of plastic surgeons, CardioVascular and thoracic surgeons, Fasciomaxillary surgeons which goes hand in hand as a speciality for trauma cases along with orthopedicians. We also provide post graduate degree in MS Orthopaedics, fellowship programmes with is RGUHS accredited in ARTHROSCOPY AND SPORTS MEDICINE, ARTHROPLASTY, SPINE SURGERY, ADVANCED ORTHOPAEDIC TRAUMA, MAXILLOFACIAL TRAUMA AND ULTRASOUND AND IMAGE GUIDED ADVANCED NERVE BLOCKS. We also have a dedicated skill lab for research activities.

Athletic Team Coverage: Any tournaments happening in the the city of Bangalore Fellows get the opportunity to be the team doctor for cricket, football and other staten national and international sports events taking place anywhere in the city, state or country recently the fellows got the opportunity to participate in the DAVIS TENNIS CUP and have also served as the team doctor For team BFC( FOOTBALL).
