Role of the fellow with respect to Clinical, Surgical, Research, and other opportunities: Fellows participate in outpatient consultations, diagnostic assessments, and follow-up care for sports injuries, ligament tears (ACL/PCL), meniscus issues, rotator cuff problems, and joint preservation cases. They collaborate with Dr. Gupta's team on rehabilitation protocols and multidisciplinary management, gaining exposure to high-volume elite athlete cases from national sports programs.
Surgical Role includes assisting arthroscopic surgeries like ACL reconstruction, meniscus repairs, high tibial osteotomy (HTO), shoulder Bankart/rotator cuff repairs, and cartilage restoration under supervision. Fellows contribute to ongoing studies on innovative arthroscopic methods, meniscus root repairs, and knee preservation outcomes, often co-authoring papers or case reports presented at national/international conferences
