Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: Research projects can be performed in:
Basic science - We have a outstanding lab with focus on regenerative and translational medicine. Research projects can be provided in knee cartilage and meniscus, as well as tendon regeneration.
Clinical research:
- Due to our FIFA medical center we have a lot of studies investigating prevention of injures, as well as the follow-up of soccer players after surgery.
- One of our main research projects is the investigation of joint infections. With Professor Alt and Dr. Rupp we have two of the best clinicians in Germany.
