Types of Educational Opportunities: Scrub in for surgery, Assist with research, Didactic sessions, Publishing opportunities
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: Research projects can be performed in: Basic science - We have a outstanding lab with focus on regenerative and translational medicine. Research projects can be provided in knee cartilage and meniscus, as well as tendon regeneration. Clinical research: - Due to our FIFA medical center we have a lot of studies investigating prevention of injures, as well as the follow-up of soccer players after surgery. - One of our main research projects is the investigation of joint infections. With Professor Alt and Dr. Rupp we have two of the best clinicians in Germany.
