Recent activity of Teaching Center: The clinic has 9 PhD student in our research group, one professor, three associate professors and several other senior researches with individual projects. The clinic regularly arranges courses and conferences.

Housing in Stockholm is generally from $700 a month.

Role of the fellow with respect to Clinical, Surgical, Research, and other opportunities: The fellow will be ausculting with experienced orthopedic surgeons with high case-loads of knee and shoulder surgery. For fellows staying three months or more a research project could be arranges depending on individual interests.

Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: The clinic has a research department in connection with Karolinska Institutet and at the moment 9 PhD students in the research group. Our research is mainly focused on clinical projects looking at knee injuries. There will be opportunities for fellows to take part in research projects.
Related Conference/Lecture Schedule: The clinic arranges 2-3 courses for residents in orthopedics yearly, 1-2 courses with live-surgery for specialists in orthopedic surgery and 1-4 courses for physiotherapists. The clinic also arranges a biannual international conference in sports orthopedics.
Athletic Team Coverage: We work with the Swedish olympic committee, the Swedish Ski federation and several soccer and ice-hockey teams in Sweden (AIK, Hammarby, Djurgården).
